Just a few ideas for Easter, Sympathy or Other Special Days cards that come around or spring up for time to time & you get stuck for an idea. So here is a few to share with you!! Enjoy!

EASTER CARDS

Here is my version of a Rabbit with Mushroom punch art card. I came across the mushroom on the web & had a go! The rabbit, I played around with ideas so that it worked out how I wanted it to look! I created this card using Stampin Up Fox builder, Bow builder, 1" inch circle, 3/4" circle & the Cookie Cutter punches. For making the rabbits ears use the Fox builder, however tear the piece into two pieces! I also used a Carla punch for the rabbit tail & the grass. I am really happy the way this came together!!

Here is my go at a Rabbit punch art card! I used Stampin Up Fox builder, 1" inch circle, 3/4" inch circle & small oval punches to create this card. Also a few Carla punches for the rabbits tail & the grass. I am really happy the way this came together!

Here is a card I created using a Gorjuss stamp which I then coloured in with water colour pencils! This came together well!!

Love this card design I came across the web so I had to give it ago! Really different idea for an Easter card! I used Stampin Up Honeycomb Happiness, Four Frames & Easter Blossoms set.

Here is quick & simple Easter card I put together using Stampin Up Honeycomb Happiness, Easter Blossom & Four Frames to create this card. Sometimes when you have to make a lot to send to family, the simple ones work the best!

I really like this card as it is bright! Orange is such a great strong colour!! I used Stampin Up Hey Chick set & Teeny Tiny Sentiments sets to create this card.

Here I just wanted to used blue tones to create this Easter card. I used Stampin Up Easter Blossoms & Teeny Tiny Sentiments & In The Meadow set to make this card come together. I am happy how this came about, plus using the Distressed inks to give it a washed look as well! Note make sure you rub your stamps with an eraser as this will help the Distressed ink stay & spread better on the rubber of the stamp!! Don't rub to hard though & clean with a wet one or baby wipe before inking up!!!

Here is a sweet little Easter card which I used a few different items to put this together. Sweet!

Oh I just love this one when I saw this on the web I just had to do it! So here is my version of the big bunny punch art card! I used Stampin Up large oval, scallop, 2 1/2" circle, stocking punch for the ears. Also the owl punch for the eyes! Oh I also used a Carla cp1 grass punch. The stamp I used was from a set I bought in a shop awhile back which then used Stampin Up ticket duo punch it out! My son just loved it!!

This was my go at using Stampin Up Cookie Cutter punch which I made a Rabbit! I also used Stampin Up Fox builder for the ears! Oh, Stampin Up small oval for the Easter eggs! The rest you see & really pleased with the way it turned out!

Here I used Stampin Up People Like You stamp to create this card! Simple but nice!!

SYMPATHY CARDS

Stampin Up Baroque Motifs set. Here I used Stampin Up Baroque Motifs set, Word Play set, Papillion Potpourri set & Bitty Butterfly punch. Also some doubled sided tape with glitter smudged into it to make it sparkle! All this to create this card!

I came across this on the internet & thought I would give it a go! SO here is my version of it, using Stampin Up Bird Builder punch & Word Play set to create this card. I thought it was a great male sympathy card!

THANK YOU'S & JUST FOR YOU'S CARDS

Here I designed & cut my own stamp using Stampin Up create your own stamp! So I just had to make Snoopy, as I am a Peanuts fan!! I am so happy how it came together!

Snoopy punch art card using Stampin Up Owl punch. Yep this is the one!! I love it as I am a huge Peanuts fan!! SO when I came across this on the web I just had to give this a go. So this is my version of a Snoopy punch art card. I used Stampin Up modern label bird builder, word window, large heart & a small oval punches to create this card. The heart shapes are the body, the bird wing for the ear (trim using the small oval punch to take off the wing point) & a back spot plus a little leaf for the tail, word window for the nose, small oval for the hind leg & a modern label for the arm. I also used some Caral punches for the clouds & grass. I am so please by the way this came together!! So cute!!

WEDDING & ANNIVERSARY CARDS

Here is an anniversary card I created using Stampin Up Marry Me set which was perfect for this card! The word stamp I am not sure who made it or where it came from, however I did alter it to fit the style of the card as the stamp design was a little over the top! Now much better!! Lol!!

Here I have used Stampin Up Mostly Flowers set to create this tea bag folding effect on this card which was for an engagement. The other stamp used on this card was from Stamp It.

ATC Rules.....

Just to get you thinking!

Your ATC should be 6.4cm X 8.9 cm (2.5 inches by 3.5 inches ). Try to make sure your ATC has a sturdy backing especially if you have used papers to create. Always lable the back of your ATC with a theme title, your name, date it was made, what materials were used and most of all what number it is in the series or set that you made.

When creating or making a design for ATC swapping it is a good idea to make a set with the same design as this becomes the set that you swap out. At the back of each ATC is written for example 1of 6 which means this one ATC was the first made out of six that were made to form a set or series. Depending on the requirements of a host sets or series can more or less ie 6x6, 8x8, 10x10.

SO why you ask this, well when swapping your ATCs it is handy to know that the ATC received was made from an idenitcal idea or creation and how many were produced this way. It is nice to know that when this set of ATCs was swapped out that every player received the same design. Also handy for the host when they need to swap out so many different sets or series of ATCs that each set are the same made from each player, so there is less chance of being sent out a ATC you have design back. Receiving new ATCs are fun especially if there was a large number of players involved in the one swap.

Swapping is FREE which means no money was needed to buy ATCs. Only cost is the making of ATCs and postage. It is so easy to get started and collect your very own ATCs.

What is This???

Here are a few what does that mean when you find them on your ATC' s or Host Swap Details:

RAK: Radom Act of Kindness; if you get an ATC with this on it means you keep this ATC & is not to swap out or give away as it was ment for you & no one else.

3/4: 3 for 4; means you make 3 to send to the host and receive four ATCs from the host as they have made an extra one for you.

4/3: 4 for 3; means you make 4 to send & receive 3 in return as the host collects one ATC from every player to keep.

4x4: 4 for 4; means you make 4 to send & receive 4 in return from the host. This is the same if the ATC sets or series are 6x6, 8x8 or 3x3 as it depends on the host.

TY : means thank you which a host will make a card or note of thanks for joining the swap. It is not counted as a ATC.

SSAE: means stamped & self addressed envelope which is needed when you join a swap so the host can send you swapped ATCs back. Also "envie" may be used too for the same thing.

Tips That May Help!!

Just a few things I do to make making ATC's alittle easier!

~ Cut out a peice of very thick card to use a tracing template & mark it as a template so you don't have keep ruling up the exact size all the time!

~ Cut out a peice of ver thick card just 2mm or 3 mm smaller template so it can be use as the main body of your design & then can be placed on a peice of card cut that is at the right size so it creates a frame or boarder around your work!

~ Buy a self inking character stamp to use as your backing details so it makes writing information on th back of you ATC's faster & easier too! It should have Title, Theme, Date, Number (used an abreviation for this as it saves on space) & made by (your name!).

~ Buy a self inking stamp & place you address on it so it can be used on the back of envolopes for who the sender is so you don't need to write it & helps when posting!!

~ Have an exercise book to track & record your ATC's in swaps as this helps to have on hand when you go to create your ATC's & the swap you are joining! The things you may have in there are; Swap theme, Host, Date due, Post date, Host receive, I received! These are ruled up into 6 columns. Plus you tracker book is handy when you don't want to turn on the computer just to find out details of a swap you have already signed up for!
